I was sitting face-to-face with a client.

We were in a large room, surrounded by many people who did not know You, Lord… yet.  I was speaking passionately to my client, exhorting her to remember

“You KNOW who you are!  You KNOW who your Source is — Jesus!  Almighty God!  You KNOW what He is calling you to be and do.  You KNOW He is with you and will never leave you.  You KNOW He will give you everything you need as you journey into the future He has laid out for you… So FEAR NOT!”

I woke up.  I had been in that in-between place where sound sleep morphs into Wide Awake.  The place where dreams live.  The place where You speak to me, Lord… and the subconscious comes to Life.

The image was vivid.  The words hanging in the air of my wakefulness.  And I realized I had not just been talking to my client.  As I looked into her eyes, I began to see my own eyes. Because I was looking into a mirror.

And suddenly, my voice became Your Voice, Lord.  The words I had spoken to the dear one I served became The Words You were speaking to me.  And I froze.  Keenly aware of another Kairos Moment.

An Opportune Moment, when conditions were right for the accomplishment of A Crucial Action.  A Crucial Action that will change me forever.

And as Your Words filled my inner and outer atmosphere, what was present only yesterday evaporated.  The doubts.  The insecurities.  Yes, Lord… even the fears.

I left for our weekly gathering of prayer warriors.  I couldn’t have imagined how You would confirm The Crucial Action You were orchestrating.

I couldn’t possibly reconstruct the prayers You pulled out of my spirit today.  I only know that I have never prayed before with such powerful words of LIFE and HOPE.

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.  This is the confidence we have in approaching God:  that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we KNOW that He hears us — whatever we ask — we KNOW that we have what we asked of Him.”  (1 John 5:13-14)

The lyrics of a song I had never heard before got under my skin and gave me goosebumps. About Something Good happening… right here, right now.  About being one praise away from my Breakthrough.  Because anything can happen here.

Indeed.

“I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.  Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.  I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”  (Psalm 34:2-4)
