I have been at a lot of Crossroads in my life, Lord. You know better than anyone else.
STOP. Look Both Ways. Choose Well. Proceed with Caution. Take the Road Less Traveled. Enjoy the People Watching. Walk By Faith.
Like many others in my “generation,” I actually stood on that corner in Winslow, Arizona. I even have a photo there next to that flat bed ford.
[Did I just leave anybody in the dust, Lord? 🙂 I memorized the lyrics of that 1970’s hit long before I ever met You. “Take It Easy” by the Eagles. And just like the song said, I came dangerously close to letting the “sound” of my own “wheels” make me crazy.]
Can I get an AMEN?! 🙂
Walgreen’s has a great marketing motto now. Located “At the corner of Happy and Healthy.” The subliminal meaning is obvious. If you’re not happy or healthy, come inside. We can help! 🙂
How about some of the Crossroads You may lead us to, Lord, in this Adventure called Life?
The Corner of Challenge and Opportunity.
The Corner of Leadership and Servanthood.
The Corner of Darkness and Light.
The Corner of Lies and Truth.
The Corner of Diagnosis and Hope.
The Corner of Suffering and Strength.
The Corner of Cancer and Overcoming.
The Corner of Trials and Perseverance.
The Corner of Perfect Storms and Peace.
The Corner of Impossible and Miracle.
The Corner of Lost and Found.
The Corner of Starving and Satisfied.
The Corner of Sin and Forgiveness.
The Corner of Slavery and Freedom.
The Corner of Death and LIFE.
STOP. Look Both Ways. Choose Well. Proceed with Wisdom. Take The Way Best Traveled. Watching — following — You, Jesus. Live By Faith.
“I am The Way and The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
“I am The Light of the World. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life.” (John 8:12)
“I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35)
At every Crossroads in Life… THE Crossing Guard of crossing guards!
Longing to always follow Your lead…
