Waiting For Waterfalls

Some days are all about Waiting.

Waiting for Answers as our Questions hang in the atmosphere.

Waiting on You, Lord.

Hoping for Yes’s… Struggling with No’s… Accepting Not Yet’s…

Learning to Trust.

“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it… Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore He will rise up to show you compassion… Blessed are all who wait for Him!”  (Isaiah 30:15,18)

Other days are all about Waterfalls.

Welcoming Your Answers as they fill our Need Cups to overflowing.

When our Thirst is ready, Your Water appears.

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me and drink.  Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, streams of Living Water will flow from within them.”  (John 7:37)

Yesterday, I was dry.

Yet grateful for this latest desert reminding me of my utter dependence on You, Lord.

Keenly aware that my parched throat would (will) be all-the-more grateful when Your Water finally comes.

When it comes… not IF.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the Hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”  (Hebrews 10:23)

Today, the Waterfall came… and Your Answers flowed!

Now I have Gifts to share with one who has need of them.

And You have blessed me, once again, with the Gift of being Your Helper.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  (Ephesians 2:10)

Discerning Desert Beauty…

Waiting for Waterfalls…

Drinking deeply, when they come…
