Your sheep hear Your Voice. Even before we realize we are Yours, Lord? It must be so. Otherwise, how would we ever realize You are standing at the threshold of our heart?
“… and opens the door…”
It is always our choice to open that door. The First Time… so You can save us to be Yours forever. And Every Other Time… so You can shape us into who You have destined us to be.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you… I set you apart…” (Jeremiah 1:5)
“I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)
“… He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)

“Let us hold unswervingly to the Hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23)

An Abundant Feast. An Abundant Life. Masterful in the making and the serving.
Master-FULL.
You come to us, Lord. You stand at Our Door. You knock. Insistently, it seems. Because You shout, “HERE I AM!”
The knob is on our side. The Choice is ours… to let You in or shut You out. A wonderful — and terrible — Truth.
There stands The Door. We assume it’s locked. We don’t even try. Or we try and fail… so often, we give up. And we give in… to life apart from You.
So close… yet so far. Feeling only The Door that keeps us from feeling Your Embrace.
Settling for… Closeness without Intimacy. Stumbling without Victory. Self-sabotage instead of Savior-Security.
We know in our heads, Lord, that You are The Key. The Master Key. For Every Door. Every Time. So how do we get that Key firmly into our hearts… and then, into our grasp?
“I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)
