Sometimes, you just know.

You know you are lost… and there is no way home.  There is no “home”

You know you are broken… and you can’t be fixed.  There is no “whole.”

You know you are caught… and there is no way out.  There is no “way.”

But then… Suddenly, gradually, impossibly, wonderfully…

You KNOW you are Found.  At Home, in a place you’ve never been before.

You KNOW you are Forgiven.  By One who knows the worst of you.  One who wants His best for you.

You KNOW you are Healed.  From the inside out.  No more band-aids and painkillers.  No more masks and silent screams.

You KNOW you are Loved.  With a love nothing — and no one — can take away.

And you KNOW you are… Free.  Not without struggle.  Not without trouble.  But able to… Rise above it.  Gain perspective.  Endure it.  Survive it.  No… Thrive, because of it.  Press through it.  Grow stronger — betterthrough it.

You know that you know that you KNOW

It’s REAL, not a dream.  It’s TRUE… not a lie.  It’s NOW… and FOREVER!

All because of YOU, Lord — Almighty God!  Everlasting Father!  Wonderful Counselor!  Prince of Peace!

“This is what the Lord says — He who created you… ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you, I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you…”  (Isaiah 43:1-2a)

“Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak… those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles…”  (Isaiah 40:28-29,31a)

“I am The Way and The Truth and The Life.”  (John 14:6)

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:33)

Suddenly.  Gradually.  Impossibly.  Wonderfully…

Sometimes you just KNOW.

Gratefully,

Abba’s Girl
