SON-DAYS with OUR SAVIOR

Tomorrow — November 20, 2017 — this blog will change radically.

It will still be all about Jesus, but… well, I hope you will tune in again tomorrow to discover the new Monday-Wednesday-Friday format. But today is Sunday, which calls for a different kind of post.

Because Sunday is a Sabbath day. A day for Reflection and Refreshment. Sundays — a.k.a. SON-days — with Our Savior.

My past blog posts grew out of my journey through (then, beyond) the Valley of the Shadow of Cancer. Postings about my own intimate relationship with the Lord as He and I experienced Life together… Life, even within sight of the Valley of Death.

God-encounters, all of them!

By God’s grace, many of you found those postings inspiring in your own journeys with the Lord. I am thankful for this beyond words. So…

Every Sunday, I will continue to do such a posting. Referencing some kind of God-encounter I have had with the Lord during the week… an encounter that has somehow inspired me in my walk with Him.

That’s why I’m calling this new Category “Inspirational God-encounters.”   (Go figure!)   🙂

All of my historical categories — my “oldies but goodies”? 🙂  — are still here. They are all like “children” under this new “parent” category — because they are ALL God-encounters… Amen?

Whether we are…

Seeking Intimacy (with the One who chose us to be His)…

Embracing (the) Love of The One who loves us most…

Discovering Hope (even where it seems impossible to find it)…

Inspiring Courage (to keep going, no matter what)…

Climbing Higher (as we overcome whatever seeks to hold us down)…

Empowering Life (as we surrender more to His Holy Spirit)… OR

Overflowing (with the sheer) Joy of doing Life with Him…

… these encounters can ALL inspire us to, as that old folk song once said, “know Him more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly… day-by-day.”  AMEN?

So… If the ache in your heart yearns for one of these remedies, there are hundreds of posts already waiting there for you. As the Lord directs you to search these archives, I trust you will find just what The Great Physician has ordered for your day.

Going forward, you will find every Sunday posting filed here at “Inspirational God-encounters”… AND in one of those “children” categories.

Going forward, I especially hope you will let me hear from you! Because YOUR comments — and YOUR God-encounters — inspire me, too!

And with all we see going on in the world, we all need to (as God’s Word says) “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds… encouraging one another — and all the more as [we] see the Day [of Christ’s return] approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

AMEN?! So… Let the “spurring on” and “encouraging” begin!  🙂
