Sometimes I feel so anointed, Lord. Sometimes I’m running on empty.
“Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Sometimes I feel so fruitful. Sometimes I fail in spades.
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)
Sometimes I feel so in tune with You. Sometimes I’m “out to lunch.”
“Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
Sometimes I speak with Your Voice, Lord. Sometimes my words fall flat.
“Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” (Proverbs 30:5)
Sometimes my wisdom is not “of” me. Sometimes cluelessness reigns.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:3)
Thankfully, Lord, ALWAYS trumps “sometimes” every time!
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the earth.” (Matthew 28:20b)
