Reaching For The Stars!

I must have gained a new level of Healing, Lord.  By Your grace, of course.  How else could it have happened?

You have given me a Message to share.  Some dear brothers and sisters-in-Christ have challenged me to venture far beyond my comfort zone.  By taking the initiative to search out and contact people with… Star Power.

Famous people I have never met.  People with national spheres of influence.  People who, ordinarily, would never give me even the time of day.

And here’s the thing:  I am not afraid!   🙂

“When you are brought befoe synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”  (Luke 12:11-12)

My “old tapes” (and the enemy of my soul) would scream:  “Who do you think you are?  You’re a NOBODY!  What makes you think anyone like that would ever pay attention to you?”   But those voices, if they are there, are falling on Deaf Ears.

And I am moving forward!

Brainstorming who You would have me contact.  Discerning Your strategies.  Asking for Your words.  Stepping out in Faith… without Fear.  Because You have purpose in this beyond anything I could possibly imagine… don’t You, Lord?

Why me?   It’s a mystery, to be sure.  Then again… Why not me?

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last…”  (John 15:16)

Which “stars” am I to reach for, Lord?

“He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.”  (Psalm 147:4)

Hello… May I speak to Oprah, please?

My prayers are lifting you up. The Lord’s call on you does not surprise me. He has been preparing you all your life; equipping you for such a time as this! Love and blessings my dear friend.

Love and blessings back to you, beloved sister. Our pastor reminded us this morning of the man Jesus healed, who had been blind from birth. People peppered him with questions. He didn’t have answers. But he knew one thing: He had been blind, but now could see! And Jesus was responsible! We all have our own stories of His Healing Touch… don’t we? With whom will God have us share them? He knows… and any door He opens, no man can close.
