As a therapeutic technology, a Hyperbaric Chamber shows great promise in healing infections.  By using greater atmospheric pressure — three times what’s normal — the lungs are able to absorb more pure oxygen.  Oxygen which can then be sent throughout the body to fight bacteria.

Was that what I just experienced, Lord???

I wasn’t at a medical clinic.  I was in my own office at home.  I had no doctor’s prescription. But Your presence, Lord, as The Great Physician was obvious!

I just spent twenty minutes in prayer with a fellow sister-in-Christ.  I could almost feel the weightiness of You, Lord… like a soft yet powerful blanket enveloping us.  Not heavy… just substantial.  Safe.

We hadn’t planned in advance to pray.  You just presented the opportunity and made Your heart prompting obvious.  She hadn’t asked me to pray about certain things.  You just moved me to pray in ways that I learned later were “the very things” she needed to address.

We finished… but we didn’t want to leave.  You were so close, Lord.  So real.  Were those Your arms we felt holding us close?

“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the Everlasting Arms.  He will drive out your enemies before you.”  (Deuteronomy 33:27)

No room for stress.  No fear.  Only profound Peace.  And Joy.  Acceptance.  Hope. Anticipation.  Gratitude.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”  (Isaiah 41:10)

Greater atmospheric pressure — three times what’s normal.  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

“And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  (Isaiah 9:6)

Our lungs absorbing pure oxygen.  The Breath of Life from the Life Breather.

“And with that He breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.'”  (John 20:22)

Wow, Lord… Is that why You tell us to pray without ceasing???

Count me in!!!

🙂   🙂   🙂

Gratefully,

Abba’s Girl
