What do 450 miles, one lightning bolt and a credit card approval for $6,619.00 have in common?
They are all highlights –or lowlights — in our trip south today.
The GOOD News is…
We’re halfway to Florida. Falling asleep at 6:30 PM. Dinner already settled in our tummies. Trying to stay up late enough so we don’t wake up at 3:00 AM.
We didn’t get struck by lightning! The lightning bolt was so close it sounded like a gunshot. Every such miss is a WIN.
Thankfully, thankfully, thankfully… The hotel didn’t actually charge my credit card for more than $6,600. But if we decided to stay here for 32 nights, we’d be covered!
The BAD News is…
…actually, there IS no Bad News!!!
We’re here. We’re safe. We’re cozy. We’re… together.
Me. My Honey. Princess Skippy. And You, Lord.
